CO2 Absorption: CO2 Absorber RXSOL is effective in selectively absorbing carbon dioxide from gas streams. It reacts with CO2 to form a stable compound, which can then be regenerated to release the captured CO2.

 

High Selectivity: CO2 Absorber RXSOL exhibits high selectivity for CO2, which means it can selectively remove carbon dioxide while leaving other gases, such as methane, largely unaffected. This is crucial in applications where the purity of the gas needs to be maintained.

Using Procedure: 

DIRECTION OF USAGE

•    Machines should be rinsed with water to remove loose flakes & sludge's before use
•    Powder should be added to warm water for an ideal solution
•    The sample should be properly tested before using

At room temperatures, dilute aqueous Sulfamic Acid solution is stable for a long time but rapid hydrolysis occurs at elevated temperatures. Its solution is less corrosive toward metals than another mineral acid. Procedure-of-use: The most effective descaling is accomplished by circulation.In the case of small components,the soak method in an immersion bath can be used. If the equipment to be cleaned is contaminated by oil, grease or sludge, then pre-cleaning with DEGREASER ( RXSOL OB 1005 ) is necessary. Depending on the extent of scaling, use a solution of 2.5-10% RXSOL-37-8865-025 . The solution will have a red colour which changes to orange when 85% of the acid has been neutralized , & to colourless  when the solution is totally neutralized. Whenever possible, the solution should be heated to 60°C.Neutralised  solutions can be re-activated by adding more RXSOL-54-1008-025  until the red colour reappears. This should not be done more than twice. RXSOL-37-8865-025  should not be used on Aluminium , Zinc, Tin or Galvanized surfaces.

The strength of the acid can be enhanced by adding 1 part sodium chloride (common salt) to 20 parts of Descale Powder RXSOL-37-8865-025. This enhancement of the cleaning solution, however, should not be used when descaling diesel engine cooling water systems. After use of Descale Powder a 0.5% solution of Alkalinity Control in fresh water should be used for neutralisation.

After using  RXSOL-37-8865-025, Rinse all metal surfaces with 0.5 percent of RXSOL-20-2059-025, at least 2-4 hour , up to neutral of PH value.

The recommended dosage for Brine Corrosion Inhibitor RX is 17.5 litres per tonne of brine in the system. Brine Corrosion Inhibitor Rx may be added directly to the system either neat or in a water dilution. Dilutions should be made with evaporated water. If a chemical dosing pump is used then pump and lines should be mild steel, stainless steel, Teflon, polyethylene, PVC, polypropylene or rubber.

Conversion from chromate Brine corrosion inhibitor RX is compatible with chromate. Systems with chromate need not be flushed before adding the product. Let chromate deplete naturally and maintain boron level at a minimum of 70ppm. Brine Corrosion Inhibitor Rx should be fed slowly. Start feeding 5 to 10% of the total dosage at a time and watch for foaming. Gradually increase the feed rate. Brine Corrosion Inhibitor Rx does not induce foaming at normal dose rates, but if it is fed too much too soon, foaming may occur. Feed lines and pumps should be mild steel, stainless steel, Teflon, polyethylene, PVC polypropylene or rubber.

Now a days Uses of Molten Salts as a Heat Transfer Fluid and Thermal-Storage Medium is common. One of the most commonly used molten salts is a eutectic blend of sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate. 

Heat Transfer salts contains Nitrate  are stable and have low toxicity, but they are oxidizers. In the presence of fire or open flames, they can break down and liberate oxygen, providing a fuel source for the flame. Molten nitrate salts should be kept away from open flame, sparks and other sources of ignition. If proper precautions are taken, the salts should not pose any hazards.

By mixing the two together, however, you can create a salt blend with a melting point of 431°F (222°C). Nitrate salts are compatible with stainless steels up to 1049°F (565°C) and even carbon steel if the operating temperature is kept below 752°F (400°C). This makes them advantageous to use with common materials of construction to keep costs low. It is not advised to use yellow metals such as copper or brass with molten salts because they are not as compatible as steel at higher temperatures.

Heat Transfer Salt Molten salts are also used in applications of solar power plants (CSP), where the salt can store heat obtained from sunlight for long periods of time. Some of these CSP systems flow the salt directly through the receiver tubing, where sunlight hits a parabolic mirror and concentrates the sunlight to a tube in which the salt flows. 

 

Other systems may use molten salts for preheating natural gas lines or keeping reactors hot by using the molten salt in the jacket around a tank. Salts also have relatively high latent heat capacity — similar to many of the phase-change waxes that are used today — and are sometimes used in phase-change applications. When salts melt, they absorb large amounts of heat, and when they freeze, they release large amounts of heat. By utilizing this phenomenon, it is possible to create advanced thermal storage or temperature-regulating systems, depending on the process.

As for the other parts, The RXSOL-11-1052-050 works more quickly with hot water than cold. Try using RXSOL-11-1052-050 with the hot maintain the temperature. And give sufficint time to dissolve mineral deposits in some cases complete dissolving may reuqire bath water above 100F over night period.

Home application ::: 
Around two tablespoons to a liter of water is a 'normal' mix. You could go 3 or 4 tablespoons for heavier scale. When I do my every 6 months descale I use the 2 tablespoons per liter mix and it works just fine. Hot water is more aggressive so when you put all the parts in a tub to descale, put your water and RXSOL-11-1052-050 in a bit stock pot, bring it to a low boil then dump it in your tub with the parts.

Al most forgot, do not use an aluminum pot or Teflon coated. Use stainless. The acidic part of RXSOL-40-1048-025 will eat up the aluminum and may blister the Teflon.

The principal problem potential posed by sulfate ions in water is the possibility of calcium sulfate scale formation.  Precipitation of calcium sulfate can occur when high concentrations of both calcium and sulfate exist simultaneously.  There are three primary areas of water treatment in which calcium sulfate precipitation may occur boilers, cooling systems, and ion exchangers operating in the hydrogen or acid mode.

In boilers, calcium sulfate scale formation has been reduced to a minimum by modern treatment practices.  The low hardness levels largely preclude calcium sulfate boiler scale.    By contrast, cooling systems are subject to calcium sulfate scale deposition because the makeup is usually not treated for hardness removal.  Cooling water is usually treated with sulfuric acid for pH control, and the makeup is cycled, i.e. concentrated.  Calcium sulfate scale deposition can  result unless the cycles of concentration are properly controlled in conjunction with the proper use of scale control chemicals.  Cation ion exchangers regenerated with sulfuric acid also can pose a major calcium sulfate problem. Calcium sulfate precipitation can be avoided by controlling the acid concentration and the flow rate through the exchanger.

Procedure for Use :-

  • RXSOL-38-1011-025 is highly concentrate
  • Dilute in water (always use a plastic jar and RXSOL-38-1011-025 should be added to  water  never add water to (RXSOL-38-1011-025.)
  • The surface should be sound clean and free of oil, grease, dirt etc.
  • Diluted materials apply on the rusted area for 15 to 20 minutes then wash off with water repeat if necessary.
    (For stubborn rusted stains.)

NOTE:-
For steel surfaces; remove oil, grease and old paint. Wet down entire surface with neat Super Dilac Acidic low foaming Detergent Metal Clean Bright- Rx and allow to dry. The second wash may be necessary. The surface should have a grey/white appearance when the Super Dilac Acidic low foaming Detergent Metal Clean Bright- Rx is dry. Steel surfaces will have a resistance to rust and will render a good base for paint.For removal of rust stains on painted surfaces and wood, Super Dilac Acidic low foaming Detergent Metal Clean Bright Rx should be applied at full concentration for heavy stains, or diluted to 20-50% for light stains. Allow to soak for 15 to 30 minutes and wash off with water. A second application may be necessary to remove the stubborn stains.

Spraying Direction:-
Using an empty/clean 210-litre drum, fill with 190 litres of fresh water and add 20 litres of Super Dilac Acidic low foaming Detergent Metal Clean Bright   This makes a 10% solution, which can be sprayed onto areas in coated tanks where rust stains are showing and over actual rusted areas.  Once spraying is completed, wait 20-30 minutes and fresh water rinses with lots of water if possible use Butterworth machines for a more efficient result.  This method can be used in stainless tanks to “freshen up” the look of the stainless materials.  Make sure to rinse the tank very well, as residual detergent within the Metal Clean Bright will show up in a Wall Wash.

Injection – Not suitable.

Re-circulation:
When hand spraying is inadequate (too much area to cover), prepare a 2% - 5% solution in the tank using fresh water, heat solution to 50o C, then circulate the solution through Butterworth machines for 3 x 45 minutes drops minimum.  When using fixed machine recirculate for a minimum of 3 cycles.  Rinse out the tank using hot seawater 85o C for 2 hours making sure that there is no form remaining in the water at the pump stack drain cock.  After the hot wash, the tank must be rinsed with fresh water and dried.

* If the mixture is allowed to overheat, it will soften epoxy/phenolic coating.
* Use a strainer at the pump stack when circulating any solution.

In general terms and thumb rule for Metals Britte is MORE RUST required more Super Dilac Acidic low foaming Detergent Metals Britte. Chemically Rust { iron oxide (FeO) } is soluble in pH values below 4.0, . Thus, the oxide (oxygen) dissolves as it is formed instead of depositing on the metal's surface. So it is clear more rust required more Metal clean Britte to get dissolve. In practical if the area is fully rusted corroded then direct Metal Clean Britte can be used to dissolve rust particles, while in light contaminated part Metals Clean Britte can be diluted in between 20 to 70% .

 

2nd factor is the time which is directly affecting the cleaning result. If base metal is aluminium then use Super Dilac Acidic low foaming Detergent Metals Clean Britte concentration 10 to 30% for not more then 5 Minutes. For removal of rust stains on painted or iron surfaces, use 10-30%  of Metals Clean Britte soultion for 15-20 minutes. And for heavily rusted and corroded or soiled surfaces and tarnish on copper and brass, use a solution of 20-50%, for 15-40 minutes.

 

The 3rd important point always be noted, After cleaning of rust from Metals clean Britte all area should be fully rinsed and clean properly with fresh water. And for best long time result to keep rust free surface, Surface can be chemically neutralized with RXSOL-41-8896-025 ( dilution ration 1 Ltr RXSOL-41-8896-025 with 10 Ltr water ). The scientific reason behind that is  As With the Rust oxide gone with Metals Clean Britte, the metal surface is in direct contact with the acidic solution, and the corrosion reaction proceeds at a greater rate than it does at higher pH values.
