Since calcium hypochlorite as a solution is a very efficient killer of virtually all bacteria, algae and other objectionable micro-organisms, it is used as a standard for comparison testing of other sanitizing chemicals. While calcium hypochlorite is used primarily to chlorinate swimming pool, spa and hot tub water, and to treat water supplies and sewage, it is also frequently used as a bleaching agent and sanitizer in industrial applications.

Rxsol Calcium Hypochlorite granules can be used for continuous chlorination or applied manually.Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Operators use calcium hypochlorite as a routine sanitizer to kill and prevent the growth of algae, bacteria, and other microorganisms. Municipal Water Treatment —

Municipalities use calcium hypochlorite in place of chlorine gas or liquid bleach to purify water. It is also effective for treating wells; sanitizing new water mains; controlling algae, especially sudden growths, in reservoirs, filters and other equipment; treating sewage and controlling odors.

Wastewater Treatment —
Calcium hypochlorite is used to treat wastewater effluents under controlled conditions by textile mills, paper mills, tanneries, food processing plants and more.

Using Procedure: 

RXSOL Polyelectrolite should be metered full strength into the flocculation station of conventional hydroxide precipitation waste water treatment systems. Typical feed rates of RXSOL Polyelectrolite vary from 8 to 12 ppm which is the equivalent to one gallon treating 25,000 to 82,000 gallons of waste water. RXSOL Polyelectrolite works well over a wide pH range with values of 7.5-10.0 being optimum. Uniform agitation is vitally important for optimum contact. Mild agitation by low speed non-shear agitators is recommended. Do not use high speed mixers or pump recirculation for mixing or an agitator speed over 100 RPM. These methods will shear and break up the floc formation. Due to the wide variety of waste water treatment facilities, equipment and waste material to be treated, it is recommended that a water treatment study be performed to assure the most cost effective treatment method available. .

STORAGE/HANDLING

Store at 40-95° F (5-35° C) for maximum stability. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Do not get in eyes, skin or clothing. Do not take internally. Wear proper protective clothing and face shield. Material spilled on floors is very slippery and most difficult to wash down. Material should be scooped up as much as possible and the remaining thin film adsorbed with absorbent clay or sweeping compound. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for more complete details.

RXSOL Cool water Treat Corrosion Inhibitor  is a highly effective corrosion inhibitor for all common metals in cooling water systems.Where most traditional inhibitors react with the metal surface and form oxides that prevent further corrosion, Cool water Treat Corrosion Inhibitor  applies a thin and durable layer of protective molecules to the metal surfaces. This technology prevents the continuous build-up of insulating layers on heat transfer surfaces.

For new builds, RXSOL  recommends cleaning of the water system before commercing service. The system will always contain small amounts of oil and iron oxides, and this can be easly removed in 1 time with Rxsol Commissioning Cleaner. If the system is corroded or is more heavily contaminated use Rxsol Degreaser HD. RXSOL Safe Acid  for removal of metal oxides or scale is recommended.
For systems previously treated with other products, RXSOL Ships Service recommend to drain and flush the system before refilling with distilled water and Cool WATER treat . The system should be clean and free from scale and corrosion products when starting the treatment.
The use of antifreeze is sometimes required if the vessel is to be laid up in cold areas, Cool water Treat Corrosion Inhibitor  can be used in conjunction with glycols for frost protection. If used in conjunction with glycols, It is recommended to increase the product concentration to 8%.

Dosing method
Cool water Treat Corrosion Inhibitor  should be dosed to a suitable point in the system. If the expansion tank is used, adequate circulation must be assured.
Dosage and control
Cool water Treat Corrosion Inhibitor  should always be present in a concentration of 5% or higher in the system. It is good practice to start with initial dose for an untreated system of 60 litres of Cool water Treat Corrosion Inhibitor /ton. 5% will provide sufficient protection of the system for a period of two to five years under normal conditions provided. To prevent residual falling below minimum level due to loss of cooling water, RXSOL Service recommend to maintain a level of 6% Cool water Treat Corrosion Inhibitor  in the cooling system.
The engine manufacturer's recommendations for water quality should always be complied with. Cool water Treat Corrosion Inhibitor  provides good protection even with contamination of the system by i.e. inorganc salts.Maintain Chloride levels and other contaminants at a minimum level. Most engine manufacturers recommend a maximum of 50 ppm Chlorides.

For a cargo tank cleaning agent, it can be used at the concentration of 5% to remove the stains after the cargo contains caustic based products.

Dilutions must be made in a plastic container. The acid should always be added to water, never the reverse.

To clean surfaces after welding or rusted surfaces use 50% Rust Remover-Water solution.

To remove stain or rust from brass and copper surfaces use between 20 – 50 % solution and rinse it with water after 15 –40 minutes.

On aluminum surfaces use 10 – 30% Metals Rust stain metal bright surface Cleaner -Water solution and after 5 minutes rinse it with water.

To remove rust from painted surfaces use 20 – 30% Metals Rust stain Brites surface Cleaner -Water solution and rinse with water after 15 - 40 minutes

To remove rust remains from ceramic, porcelain and glass surfaces; use 20 – 50% Rust Remover-Water solution for 20-40 minutes and rinse it with water.

To remove light cement and lime use 50% Rust Remover-Water solution and after 30 – 40 minutes rinse with water.

To remove rust in the pipelines and tanks use 5% Metals Rust stain Brites surface Cleaner -Water solution and circulate. On the other hand, if you use injection method use 3-5% Metals Rust stain Brites Cleaner -Water solution. Both circulation and injection must continue until the rust is removed.

Brushing is recommended for heavy rusty surfaces.

Using Procedure: 

Procedure for Use:-RXSOL-16-1011-210 is highly concentrate

Dilute in water (always use plastic jar and RXSOL-16-1011-210 should be added to water never add water to RXSOL-16-1011-210.)

Surface should be sound clean and free from oil, grease, dirt etc.

 

Before Application degrease and remove oily painted area, Then apply Metals Rust stain Brites Cleaner on the metal surface to get complete reaction of rust particle with metal bright till full dry the surface area. Repeat the metal bright 2nd times to get complete reaction of rusted surface. This will help to get solid chemically treated base for NEW PAINT COATING.

 

CONCENTRATION of Metal Bright : 10 to 40% for removal of light rust stain, while direct and neat Metals Rust stain Brites Cleaner required to dissolved heavy rusted stains.

Diluted materials apply on rusted area for 15 to 20 minutes then wash off with water repeat if necessary. (For stubborn rusted stains.)

Spraying Direction: – Using an empty / clean 210 liter drum, fill with 190 liter of fresh water and add 20 liters of Metals Rust stain Brites Cleaner This makes a 10% solution, which can be sprayed onto areas in coated tanks where rust stains are showing and over actual rusted areas. Once spraying is completed, wait 20-30 minutes and fresh water rinse with lots of water, if possible use butterworth machines for a more efficient result. This method can be used in stainless tanks to “freshen up” the look of the stainless materials. Make sure to rinse the tank very well, as residual detergent within the Metals Rust stain Brites Cleaner will show up in a Wall Wash.

Injection– Not suitable.

Re-circulation: – When hand spraying is inadequate (too much area to cover), prepare a 2% - 5% solution in the tank using fresh water, heat solution to 50o C, then circulate the solution through butterworth machines for 3 x 45 minutes drops minimum. When using fixed machine recirculate for a minimum of 3 cycles. Rinse out the tank using hot seawater 85o C for 2 hours making sure that there is no form remaining in the water at the pumpstack drain cock. After the hot wash, the tank must be rinsed with fresh water and dried.

Oleic acid is a fatty acid that occurs naturally in various animal and vegetable fats and oils. It is an odorless, colorless oil, although commercial samples may be yellowish. In chemical terms, oleic acid is classified as a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid, abbreviated with a lipid number of 18:1 cis-9.

 

It has the formula CH3(CH2)7CH=CH(CH2)7COOH.  It is the most common fatty acid in nature. The salts and esters of oleic acid are called oleates.
