HYDROGEN SULFIDE SCAVANGER

MMA Triazine is a cyclic tertiary triamine. It is mainly used as a scavenger for sour gases like H2S and mercaptans in gaseous or liquid hydrocarbon streams

The MMA-triazine reacts with H2S or mercaptan resulting in the formation of dithiazines. Both MMA-triazine and its reaction products are readily biodegradable.

MMA-triazine is available as an aqueous solution with concentration up to 42%.

Operating Process:-
RXSOL-CC72 neutralizes the acid components of feed water.The proportion of Corrosion Inhibitor Amine Based depends upon the Carbon dioxide content of the condensate. Basically Corrosion Inhibitor Amine Based neutralizes the acid contents & maintains the condensate and feed water in the alkaline condition.  It also protects copper based metals.

Using Procedure: 

Corrosion Inhibitor Amine Based condensate is tested for PH to determine the dosage level. The PH limits are 8.3 - 9.0 . For an average system e. g. 10-M3, the dosage is approximately 0.65 ltr / day .

The necessary amount of Corrosion Inhibitor Amine Based is required or injected as frequently as to maintain the pH of the condensate at the main condensate pump outlet between 8.6-9.5 .  The amines pass over with the steam and have the dual function of elevating the pH of the steam/condensate and putting a protective micro film on the system pipe work. Acidic condensate is the result of carbonic acid (H2CO3) being formed as CO2 is released in the steam.Condensate prevents corrosion by carbonic acid on live systems. Its filming properties also reduce corrosion on shut down lines, when moisture and oxygen are present.

Using Procedure: 

RXSOL-40-4018 is added neat or diluted to the cooling water. RXSOL-40-4018 can be mixed with water in any ratio.

Dosage requirements - The dosage rate is dependent on the system conditions and the amount of water lost from the system.

Systems should maintain 400 ppm - 1000ppm of product in the water, while systems with high water losses should maintain ca. 1500 ppm in the system.

Using Procedure: 

After uses of solvent type cleaner to make Hydrocarbon free tank, RINSE the tank Throughly—preferably with running continuous water. For critical Tank cleaning, Make a fresh 1% solution of Advance Tank cleaner in cold, warm, or hot water. If available use warm water. For difficult soils, raise water temperature and use more detergent.

 

Otherwise for Spot Cleaning: Spray  Advance Tank cleaner directly or it can be diluted up to 5 parts, And leave up to 30 minutes to complete the reaction then finally flush off with water. Always remember  do not allow to dryon surface, then butterworth at maximum pressure and warm water 60oC for at least 3 hours, checking that there is no foam remaining in the final stages.  Inspects tanks(s) and if desired result has been achieved fresh water rinse and dry.

Re-circulation Method:–

Fill tank with fresh water and heat up to warm 30-40oC .  Then start adding Advance Tank cleaner 0.03 to 9% ( for general wash use 300 ML for 1000 Ltr water and ratio can be increase upto 9 Ltrs for 1000 Ltr water )  to circulate the water.   A stronger solution can be made for critical cleaning. Finally lower butterworth hoses into the tank from the pump stack header without machines attached and circulate through these hoses while you fill the solution material. Use a strainer at the pump stack when circulating any solution. Finally rinse the tank with hot water.

Triethylamine is an important commercial chemical. LIME Marine is a safe, biodegradable marine descaler developed to dissolve problematic fouling mediums including calcium, rust, mussels, barnacles, tiger shells and other scale formed mineral deposits that hinder the performance of vital water systems. RXLYME Marine is formulated to meet the demands of today's water systems.

Application: 

This safe and simple solution effectively dissolves rock-like scale deposits that contaminate your water-cooled marine equipment. LIME Marine is used at ambient temperature and then circulated to bring the solution in contact with the accumulated minerals. The reaction results in a slight foaming or bubbling action, indicating the deposits are actually dissolving into solution, and then simply water flush away! These scale deposits, along with zebra mussels and tiger shells, damage your equipment and reduce your water system performance. Historically, these problems have been addressed via harsh acids, mechanical methods, ion exchange, polyphosphates, permanent magnets and electronic conditioning. If your vessel is heat exchanger cooled, keel cooled, or radiator cooled, try LIME Marine and ride the waves with maintenance superiority.

Using Procedure: 

LIME Marine should be used as directed and at any temperature within the operating limits between 0°F / -18°C and 180°F / 82°C. If the solution does freeze, slush or thicken at the lower operating temperatures, and then thaws, there will be no performance reducing results. Please consult the manufacturer when temperatures above 180°F are encountered.
RXLYME Marine should be applied at ambient temperatures with no heating required. The solution is exothermic, but does not develop a substantial increase in temperature while dissolving water scale, rust, mussels, barnacles, zebra mussels, tiger shells and other water formed deposits.

Note: 

Advantage :

  • The solution does not deteriorate, oxidize, saponify, thicken or lose effectiveness for at least five years.
  • The solution is of a pleasant or characteristic odor, very similar to cherries, and does not exude any obnoxious or toxic vapors. In rare instances, problematic vapors may occur when encountering high concentrations of sulfur or chlorine. Please contact the manufacturer before proceeding under these circumstances.
  • The solution does not require neutralizers and it is free rinsing with water.
  • The solution has the ability to dissolve deposits from some equipment while in operation and without shutdown, if auxiliary coolers are incorporated.
  • The solution has the properties to be mailed or shipped by any private or commercial carrier without restrictions. Air carriers for emergency deliveries may ship LIME Marine via next day air.
  • No Need circulate material for more than a four-hour period without consulting the manufacturer. Most LIME Marine cleaning applications can be accomplished within an average of two to four hours.Please use material only as directed.

This allows the solution to be water flushed down normal plant sewers. Check with local ordinances and regulations in your area prior to disposal.

LYME MARINE is scale dissolving chemicals. Lyme marine descaler effectively cleans fouling mediums including calcium, rust, mussels, barnacles, tiger shells and other scale formed mineral deposits that hinder the performance of vital water systems.

LIME Marine has the ability to dissolve approximately 1 Kg of calcium carbonate scale per 3.75 Ltrs in concentrated form. If the LIME Marine is diluted, it will still dissolve 1 Kg of carbonate scale per 3.75 Ltrs, but will require additional circulating time.
The concentrated solution can be held safely in the open hand without deleterious affects. It will however cause a stinging sensation when contact is made on an open wound or cut. If this occurs, simply rinse thoroughly with soap and water.

Using Procedure: 

By spray ring or lance in either starter-driver (off-line) or fired (on-line) wash as directed by the engine manufacturers, in the quantities recommended in the engine manual. It is essential during hot wash that the cleaner should leave as little ash residue as possible to avoid blocking turbine blade cooling holes. 

Mix One Part of TURBOCLEAN HeavyDuty Hydrocarbon  with 4 PARTS of DI Water for On-line cleaning.
