Slip barrier Polycoat is polymer emulsion based coating products. Which is specially modified and developed to provide protection as barrier film in between cargo and base metal.  Powder / granual of cargo minerals after absorbence of moisture gets solidified and hardly stick on metal surface, which is taking more time for removal. But if hold Block / Slip barrier Polycoat applied on surface such solidified cargo doesn't stick on base metal and cleaning of hold becomes easy. 
This is the reason now a days uses of Slip barrier Polycoat / hold block becomes so popular before loading of any cargo.
