DI ISOPROPANOL AMINE

Diisopropanolamine (DIPA) is a basic chemical used in many applications serving as emulsifiers, stabilizers, chemical intermediates and neutralizers that achieve basicity, buffering and alkalinity objectives. Because DIPA is a good solubilizer of oil and fat. DI-ISOPROPANOLAMINE DIPA chemical is used as part of Sulfinol solution for acid  gas removal in Hydrogen plant to remove mainly H2S amd CO2.

Coatings :: 

 

Diisopropanolamine is a neutralization agent for anionic stabilized resins. It is suitable for waterborne stoving enamels based on polyesters, alkyds and acrylic resins (secondary dispersions). DIPA additionally supports the film forming of stoving enamels.

 

DIPA is an intermediate in the production of a special ß-hydroxyalkylamide which is used as a crosslinker in polyester powder coatings.

 

Due to its pendent functionality, DIPA can be used as a cross-linking agent and as a building block for polyurethanes.

 

Gas Treatment

 

Natural gas can be purified by removing carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide by means of diisopropanolamine in the sulfinol process.

Diisopropanolamine (DIPOA) is used as a corrosion inhibitor in the metal processing industry.

Using Procedure: 

Cleaning products labeled as TSP Sodium Phosphate Tribasic may contain other ingredients as well, and may in fact be less than half TSP. So even "regular" TSP found at the hardware store may be half TSP and half "TSP substitute". Some large home improvement centers that sell paint no longer offer TSP.

TSP may be used with household chlorine bleach in the same solution, and this is particularly good for removing mildew from wood. The TSP alone can cause dark stains on redwood, and bleach prevents it. 

It is also used in various forms as a boiler treatment chemical for calcium precipitation, Sodium Phosphate Tribasic is also used to clean swimming pool polyester filter elements.

Using Procedure: 

USES:

Deep cleaning of outdoor condenser coils to restore efficiency and increase performance of the system.

DILUTION RATIOS:

Because RXSOL-16-1697-005 is highly concentrated, it must be diluted prior to use. Dilution also improves penetration into the coil and increases product performance. Actual dilution ratios will vary according to the application. The following is intended as a general guideline:

  • Up to 8-10 parts water to 1 par tRXSOL COIL CLEANER for light cleaning and brightening, when expanding foam is not required.
  • 3-5 parts water to 1 part RXSOL COIL CLEANER for foaming action on difficult cleaning tasks.
  • 1-2 parts water to 1 part RXSOL COIL CLEANER for use as a high foaming,aluminum finned, air cooled condenser coil cleaner.Use the minimum concentration required to accomplish your task.

Note: Do not use RXSOL-16-1697-005 at concentrations greater than 1:1 (less than 1 part water to 1 part RXSOL-16-1697-005 ). Rinse the treated surfaces as well as the surrounding area thoroughly after use.
