Zinc Bromide can affect you when breathed in and by passing through your skin. * Contact can irritate and burn the eyes and skin. * Breathing Zinc Bromide can irritate the nose, throat and lungs causing coughing and/or shortness of breath.

 

 

In organic chemistry as a Lewis acid. It is the electrolyte in the zinc bromide battery. In oil and natural gas wells, solutions containing zinc bromide are used to displace drilling mud when transitioning from the drilling phase to the completion phase or in well workover operations.

Zinc, a nutrient found throughout your body, helps your immune system and metabolism function. Zinc is also important to wound healing and your sense of taste and smell. With a varied diet, your body usually gets enough zinc. Food sources of zinc include chicken, red meat and fortified breakfast cereals.
