Xylene is a multi-purpose solvent in various applications. Uses of the product include carrier in production of epoxy resins; solvent in paint, printing; cleaning agent; constituent of paints, lacquers, varnishes, inks, and adhesives. Grade: Analytical.
It is primarily used as a solvent (a liquid that can dissolve other substances) in the printing, rubber, and leather industries. Along with other solvents, xylene is also widely used as a cleaning agent, a thinner for paint, and in varnishes.
Acrylic concrete sealer is a decorative concrete material widely used for concrete surfaces. In this type of sealers, xylene is used as a sealer/carrier solvent. In solvent based acrylic sealers, the carrier can be xylene.
